ON DOVER BEACH

On Dover Beach by Tom Stoppard was our debut show as a company.

Originally a radio play for one actor playing the poet Matthew Arnold – one in the midst of life, one looking back with the gift and sorrow of hindsight. We adapted and staged this for 3 actors, inspired by the frequently mentioned (but silent) Flu, his wife, whose voice we were keen to hear.

It was here we discovered a passion for lifting the unheard voices out of known stories/narratives.

“I feel most complimented that my play inaugurated the use of the amphitheatre as a playhouse. I had a good review!

I mean, you did. Well done all!”
