Set one year after the events of Shakespeare’s classic comedy Twelfth Night, this original sequel imagines what happens when Malvolio makes good on his threat and comes back to take his revenge.

Part comedy, part revenger’s tragedy and written in authentic Shakespearean verse, this production will draw on British Touring Shakespeare’s 25 years of experience delighting audiences around the world with their fresh take on open air theatre to deliver something exciting and new that outdoor Shakespeare audiences will love.

In a while their victim will come and they will know what to do. Told through Pinter’s unmistakable wit and poignant pauses, “The Dumb Waiter” is recognized as one of his most acclaimed plays. 

Previous work by award-nominated company Old School Players: Afterplay (Brian Friel), On Dover Beach (Tom Stoppard) as well as founding member Maryanna Clarke’s debut play Six Serpents and a Tarantula. Maryanna (Shakespeare’s Globe, Omnibus Theatre) is thrilled to be performing at the amphitheatre once again, with a new collaborator- Joel Stern (BBC’s Pack of Lies, Apple TV’s Masters of the Air).

Artist Bio: Arisha-Jane Marsh is a cabaret artist and folk musician from Manchester. They use natural imagery to explore neurodiversity, queerness and otherness. They create spaces for everyone to feel welcome.
