Murphy’s Lore Trio are multi-instrumentalists Steve, Noeleen and Alex.  With two lead vocals; male and female, plus fiddle, bouzouki, 6 and 4 string guitar, mandolin, ‘Bass Stomp’, Bodhran and Whistle, their dynamic sound, wide-ranging repertoire, plus vocal and instrumental harmony arrangements, give them something quite unique amongst Dorset folk bands.

The Trio have been described as ‘greater than the sum of their parts’, with a growing reputation for live performances of songs and tunes that meld trad folk with attitude, they can be rousing and rollicking but also wistful and whimsical. 

Samuel Austin and his band are a new slacker folk group from Wiltshire who found their feet playing in countryside folk clubs and pubs. The sound is a mixture of laid-back Mac DeMarco style modern easy listening mixed with traditional instruments like the pub piano and harmonica. They headlined a sold out Troubadour in May and will be playing at Glastonbury to celebrate the release of July’s upcoming single release, _Shame_

Glenn Ross is a folk musician and singer residing in the Purbeck Isles. 

Glenn has been writing songs for over 30 years. He draws from life experiences and his love of nature to weave his web of song. Tracks from his latest album have been played on BBC Introducing and local radio stations. His songs capture the beauty of the natural landscape and offer an accessible and thoughtful experience for the listener. Joined by his band, they collaborate to make considered and enjoyable music suitable for all listeners.
