The Sewage
Split Hairs Theatre Company
Two brothers wrought in a bitter sibling rivalry travel into the sewers to rescue their lost goldfish. Together they must learn to put aside their differences and save their beloved pet from the bizarre world of the Sewage.
Adventure into the yucky world hidden inside your toilet. Full of bombastic slapstick comedy, puppets, and monsters. Inspired by old children’s cartoons and the theatrical style of Bouffon we venture into the disgusting in search of beauty along the way – exploring themes of family, responsibility, and growing up.
Voice Mag – ★★★★★
“This is a kind of comedy that I haven’t seen in recent times, and the cast executed it in such a great way. They had the entire audience in fits of laughter the entire time”
Fringe Review – ★★★★
“Screams of delight from the younger audience, and gales of laughter from us oldies… Wonderful Physical Comedy… perfectly achieved physical theatre, minimal in construction, and immensely evocative… Don’t miss this show.”
About The Company
